« Terminus! tout le monde descend!»

Nous avons cru, un moment, avoir atteint la destination fi nale, et pourtant, nous n’avons pas entendu cette annonce à la fi n du voyage lorsqu’il y a cinq ans nous sommes arrivées en Géorgie en 2011.

Aucune autre information dans l’omnibus; nous sommes donc descendues précipitamment. Comme une célébration de bienvenue, la seule polyphonie «mravalijamieri, mravalijamieri, mravalijamieri…» retentissait à nos oreilles! Notre chemin s’est-il achevé ici? Vraiment…?

Il est vrai que le trajet fut long depuis notre exceptionnelle rencontre avec le Montrachet. Les enfants du grand Seigneur, que nous étions à l’époque, ont quitté la Bourgogne pour d’autres destinations en France, en Espagne, au Portugal, en Italie, etc… Certes, de plus en plus vers l’Est, pour atteindre plus tard le pays où il y a 2700 ans d’histoire de «kvevri» (amphore géorgienne) avec ses 525 cépages et leur bon vin.

Toutefois, nous n’avons pas reçu d’oracle lors de notre présence dans ces 69700 km2 de terroir, sinon en Turquie, durant notre escale chez Udo Hirsch, producteur de vin, photographe, archéologue et tout ce que vous voulez, en Cappadoce en 2014. Cette rencontre fut une véritable et pure révélation pour

nouset jusque là, nous avions confondu la ligne d’arrivée etde départ! La vraie histoire venait de commencer, comme le vin il y a des milliers d’années avec l’amphore. Notre intuition est de retour; bienvenue à nouveau chez nous et partons ensemble à la recherche de la vérité ailleurs!

Avec la parution de ce livre «Voyage en Amphore*», qui nous tient à coeur, nous espérons qu’un maximum de personnes ose se placer sur cette ligne de départ pour faire«Le Vin» en terre cuite. C’est notre voeu le plus sincère.

Afin de finir notre avant propos, nous aimerions exprimer nos remerciements profonds à tous nos amis qui ont participé à la concrétisation de cette oeuvre magnifi que, notamment à Udo Hirsch pour sa dissertation sur les pots en terre et Josep Roca pour son prologue ainsi que Christine Biloré et Vanessa

Thiernesse pour leurs traductions, puis Iago Bitarishvili pour sa collaboration en tant que l’éditeur Woino et l’imprimerie CEZANNE, voire notre ami Roberto de Pila. Nous leur dédions ce livre avec amour et loyauté avant toute préoccupation commerciale. Preuve est que nous l’avons rédigé en français, nous opposant au néolibéralisme.
